The last line says it all

I saw this sign in a fast food joint ironically called The American Deli.
Dear my customer
The fish suppliers has increased their cost incredibly high, we regret to inform you that we have no choice to raise our fish price for continuous service.

Thank you for understanding.

I'm sorry, what? I don't understand. Could you repeat that?

    Almost every day I have to pass a gas station/grocery which advertises "pie's" (sic). I often wonder if I should go in and set them straight about the apostrophe.

    If you want to keep buying fish its going to cost you more because it is costing us more. English as a second language must be difficult. Well, at least that is my excuse....

    The message isn't really that hard to understand, I know. What I don't understand, though, is why someone in business wouldn't bother to ask someone who is a native (or at least fluent) speaker about the sign before hanging it. It says something about how much care they take in what they do.
