Another Sunday fun day

Found the link for this at Gran's.

You Belong in the Baby Boomer Generation

You fit in best with people born between 1943 and 1960.

You are optimistic, rebellious, and even a little self centered.

You still believe that you will change the world.

You detest authority and rules. Deep down, you're a non conformist.

  2. Hi, Indrayani. Thanks for coming by and thanks for asking. I do both--write and edit--for a living. I make my money primarily by working in the area of healthcare. I edit a magazine for health professionals, write copy for several newsletters that go to health providers, edit copy (mainly for the Web now) on contract for a number of clients in the fields of health communication, patient education, and health information. I also do consulting on literacy and accessibility and write articles aimed at health consumers. I've been a book editor, and I've created pamphlets and brochures on various health topics. I'm also a poet. I've had one book published and and a lot of journal credits. I've been working on a novel for several years, and I've done some composing. I hope that explains some of what I do.

  3. Hmmm. That test says I fit in best with Generation Y. Being as I just turned 47, I guess this means I'm immature? *wink*

  9. Ohmigod that described me to a 't.' But I was born in 1963. Still, I am all those things. Since I'm all those things, and you are all those things, can we really get on? :)

btw Grandpa: the jackal word..I could "see" it in my mind in the Sanskrit, which I often do with Sanskrit. I'm glad you got it...I was thinking of you as I wrote that...:)

  10. According to the quiz, I'm a baby boomer. I was born a little late for that, though.

Guess I'm not your typical Gen-Xer after all:)

  18. it appears I belong to the "Silent Generation" after completing the questionnaire. I don't really think there were enough options though. I just picked the *best* answer but not really what I truly felt.

  19. er...I didn't mean that I think of you and jackals at the same time. No sir...
